Today is Easter! Today is the day we celebrate the risen Savior! I hope that each of you can rejoice in this and that you have a blessed day with your family or friends and that you have time to reflect on what this day means to you personally.
I wish that I could personally send cards to each of you, but please accept this “e-card” and enjoy the wishes sent your way.
Today’s card is an “Acetate Card” or a “Transparency Card”. Some call it different names. We also made an acetate card (different card) at my March Stamp Club. These are made with clear transparencies (the kind you run through a copier) and can be purchased at any office supply place. They do not photograph well, but they are beautiful and elegant in real life. You need to use StazOn Ink to stamp directly on the transparency. The stamping on the cardstock is done just like any other card. You can see more detailed directions and other samples on Split Coast Stampers or contact me personally for more information. They are NOT HARD……..they just look that way:) These make lovely Christmas cards, for those of you that want to start planning ahead!
Supplies used: Stamps: Refuge and Strength, God’s Blessings, All Holidays; Ink: StazOn White, Going Gray, Basic Black; Cardstock: Brushed Silver, Basic Black, Whisper White; Other: Black Grosgrain Ribbon, Silver Brad, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Two-Way Glue.
I wil have gorgeous Easter photos for you tomorrow! Have a happy day!
“He is Risen! He is risen, Indeed!”
