Just a quick note!

Just a quick note and a little Stampin’ Up! project today………..the week is flying by and my weekend is going to be even crazier that the last one, believe it or not!  I hope you all have a great day and didn’t get “fooled” by too many people!  Sarah said one of her friends wore an eye patch for the first 3 periods of the day and had them all believing he had been scratched by a tree branch while 3-wheeling………..took off the patch 3rd period………April Fool’s to all of the 5th graders!

Well, can you tell I am still enjoying the Summer Picnic papers??? I made these really quickly with some scraps left over from the cards from the class.  The Post-It notes cover measures 3 1/2″  x 8 1/2″.  I folded it in half and then added one more fold for the “flap” on the front (about 3/4″ down).  I tied a ribbon at the top and decorated the front for a very quick little treat.  These would make some cute teacher gifts!  (The apple is from Tart and Tangy and the snail is from Garden Whimsy.)

That’s all for now!  Thanks for all your positive comments!  I hope to see some of you at my classes — and don’t forget that you can order the kits if you can’t make the class!

You are not going to beieve this! I just sat down to quickly make this and pulled out the exact red apple DSP piece, and it was the EXACT right size!!! I just taught the Tart and Tangy Class last week, and it was one of my left overs! Thanks for the great samples! You are doing sooo awesome with keeping up, and I love seeing the kids. I got your message about the dates in May too. I will call you on Monday; I am just finishing my SECOND spring break! Maria
