I hope you had a great weekend! We had so much happen that I can’t even begin to tell you all of it! Our Drum Line won their division and Allyson won the Junior Varsity Pole Vaulting at the District Track Meet! Yes, she won first place — gold medal! She was so excited! Sarah advanced another level in our Bible Drill competition on Sunday, so that was awesome, too. We had some great family time this weekend and even managed to do some Spring Cleaning, lawn work, and cleaning out the van (that sometimes appears lived in!)…….all of you moms can relate! Let’s just sum it up by saying we got alot done, stayed busy, and had a great weekend!
I hope you enjoy this little Stampin’ Up! post, too………this is a little metal pail from WalMart that I fixed up as a hostess gift for one of my workshops. These pails are only a dollar at WalMart and are usually in with the seasonal stuff. Colors vary depending on the season. I always buy alot of them when they first come out, knowing that I have lots of projects for them. Now, the neat thing is that I embellished it using our Crop-A-Dile tool. It cuts through almost any material, including metal, with great ease. I set eyelets in the holes (also done with the Crop-A-Dile) and then wove ribbon through the holes. I filled it with candy or chex mix, or something like that. Add a cute tag and you’re ready to give out a really cute little gift! The image on the tag is from Fun and Fast Notes on page 54 in the Stampin’ Up! Catalog and Idea Book. You will love all 8 images and verses in this set. A must have!!! You can also check out our monthly special. This month’s Free Wheelin’ Promotion is a really great deal. If you purchase one of the six stamp sets featured, you will receive the JUMBO WHEEL that coordinates with that set for FREE! I will try to show you more about that tomorrow.
Have a super Monday! Dawn
