Monogram Card

Have you noticed the trend to have something personalized?  We all want something “special” with our initial, or our name.   Monogrammed gifts are well-received and these cards are no exception.  This card was given to me last year at our annual Stampin’ Up! Convention by one of my fellow demonstrators named Vickie Beck.   I loved the look, the simplicity, and my initial!  You see, rarely would I take time to make something for ME……..I always do the initial of someone else, so I can give it away!  So, thanks Vickie for making me feel special, too!  The lovely tone-on-tone effect was made possible by stamping the Paisley Background stamp in Bashful Blue Ink  on the same color cardstock.  It almost gives the effect of Designer Series Paper that was pre-printed.   There are many  ideas out there using monograms……..why not try one today?   I have given Monogrammed Card Sets to teachers, secretaries, brides, teenagers, and girlfriends.  Everyone loves them!

Supplies used:  Stamps:  Paisley Background Stamp, Letterpress Alphabet;  Cardstock and Ink:  Bashful Blue and Certainly Celery; Ribbon:  Taffeta in Bashful Blue;  Rectangle Punch.

I hope you all have a wonderful day!  Thanks for checking in with me!  Oh, by the way, Allyson’s eye is still healing, but we are not out of the woods just yet.  We got more medicine on Monday, and we go back to the doctor on Thursday.  What an ordeal!
