Good morning. It is surgery day for us……..Charles is going in for a second attempt at ablating his heart. He has a rather complicated scenario that the doctors are having a fun time working with! So, we will try again today to see if we can correct the problem. Please check back later for a post. As soon as we get to a room where I can have access to the web, I will post.
My youngest daughter, Sarah, found these cute journals at Michael’s today. She had to have the PINK one, of course, although they came in a variety of colors. They had white monogram-type letters in the right corner, but the pink ones did NOT have an “s”……so here is what we did to the journal to “customize” it. We made one for her friend Madeleine — she is staying with her while we are gone to the hospital. I think they turned out pretty cute! And totally HER idea!!! The alphabet used is retired, sorry! And the ribbon is a mixture of stuff from my stash……don’t think any of it is Stampin’ Up! ribbon — but it sure did look cute and added so much “life” to this journal!
Sorry to say that there may not be any more SU stuff on here for a day or two. But I will get back to some fun projects ASAP and will do the drawing for the “Just Celebrate” cards on Friday.
Please pray for successful surgery today……..and thanks, in advance, for doing that!!!
