I feel so very, very thankful tonight. I feel like I should start a huge list of things to be thankful for so that I can look at it over and over again!! In one day alone, we have had numerous things happen in which to be thankful. I give all glory and praise to God!!!
I wanted to share one last part of the equation from today. As we were leaving the hospital about noon, we got a call from our friends who were keeping Malachi for us. They live nearby and are foster parents, too. Unfortunately, my friend was weeping over the loss of her father this morning– a very unexpected death and she was with him at the time of his collapse, even trying to do CPR herself. Obviously, she would not have been able to continue to keep Malachi this evening, and they also have a young child who had just come into care this week. So, we were able to not only get Malachi from them but we also brought their new little one home with us. This prevented two foster children from having to go to another home (with more strangers) which is not a good scenario overall……..so we feel so blessed that we were able to help out in this way. We feel that God’s provision for Charles’ health was also God’s provision for these two lives.
Hope you like the card and I hope that you can rejoice in something to be thankful for today. “Thank ewe” for being so loving, so faithful, and so supportive of my business AND my personal life!
