Fresh Cuts Chocolate Card

Good morning!  I apologize in advance for how “bright” this photo looks.  It is not very “true to color” and I didn’t realize it until it was too late to change it.  I wanted to show you another card that we are going to make tonight at our Stamper’s 10 Club Class.  I got this card idea from this blog.  This card features our “Sneak Peak” set from the new catalog — Fresh Cuts.  This is a beautiful laser cute notecard (measuring 4×4).  If you purchase the stamp set you will get a package of 15 cards/envelopes for $5.  I was not too sure about how these worked at first, but they are just beautiful and so simple, too.  The large petals (where you see Chocolate Chip) are pre-cut and they pop out of the notecard.  You can even re-use them on another card to make a 5 petal flower.  The Taken With Teal flower that you see in the middle of the card is stamped using an image in the set, and the collage stamp is, too.  However, the 5 Petal Flower that is  shown in Taken with Teal cardstock is punched and layered on the back side of the card.  I love punches!!!!  They make things so much easier, and how lovely that this punch matched these petals PERFECTLY!  I love how Stampin’ Up! makes my card making fun and easy by co-ordinating things like this!  Way to go!

Supplies Used:  Fresh Cuts, Fresh Cuts Laser Cut Notecards, Chocolate Chip and Taken with Teal Ink and Cardstock, Vintage Brads, 5 Petal Punch, Chocolate Wide Grosgrain Ribbon.

What are you doing on Friday night???  You can come to my house and stamp!  Please let me know if you would like to come.  Details are HERE on this post.

That’s it for now……….off to VBS.  I am teaching one year olds.  Actually, I am babysitting one year olds so their mothers can teach, but showing them God’s love by spending time loving on them!  It is a good “fit” for me and I am enjoying it!

Have a great day
