I am headed out today for Stampin’ Up! Convention in Salt Lake City. This is my 9th convention and I am so excited……..it is also Stampin’ Up!’s 20th Anniversary, so it should be packed with special memories!
This week I will be sharing 5 projects made with the stamp set Garden Whimsy. We have 9 of us that are hanging out together at convention and rooming together. Maria (one of my dear friends in Florida) decided that we should each pick a stamp set and do 4 cards and a 3-D item using that same set. We will come home with 8 different “set samplers” ready for workshops and classes! I can’t wait to show you some of the other sets when I get home! Some of the ladies chose my very favorite sets so I am excited to get some new ideas. I also have about 100 swap cards to trade at convention, so I think you will be seeing alot of new things really soon! Enjoy the week of cards and I will be home before you know it!
Supplies: Stamp Set: Garden Whimsy; Cardstock: Blush Blossom, Cameo Coral, Certainly Celery; Markers: Certainly Celery, Cameo Coral, Basic Black; Ink Pad: Basic Black; Accessories: Circle Punches, Scallop Circle Punch, Dimensionals, 2 Way Glue Pen, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.
Added note: To make the tulips appear to have “shading”, I colored the entire tulip with Regal Rose and then took a Blender Pen and took off the excess ink around the edges of the tulip (the lighter pink areas)…..it is a nice effect! I also added Glitter to the ladybug……..just hard to see on the photo.
