WOW ladies! Stampin’ Up! has surprised us today with something they didn’t even share at Convention! What a shock! We are beginning a promotion on August 11th with a $99 Starter Kit! WOW! You can start your business with minimal expense and begin making profits almost immediately. There are three different options with this $99 Promotion. You can choose from a Stamp Focused Kit, a Scrapbook Focused Kit, or a Home Decor Focused Kit. In addition to the fabulous Stampin’ Up! products from the new catalog, each kit comes with the standard business supplies to get you up and running. Don’t want the sets they suggest? No problem, you can choose something else at the same (or lesser) price. Would you like to know more??? Would you like for me to help you out??? I would love to do just that. Please e-mail me if I can send you the information. I have all the flyers ready to send out, I just need you to ask!
I would also like to mention that you can still get the standard Starter Kit at the $199 cost. You can a ton of products and you can also choose one additional set (of any value!) from the NEW Catalog and Idea Book. This is a better value, if you do the numbers crunch, but if you only have $99 to spend, then let’s get you started with the smaller kit! Then you can use your profits to buy more stamps.
I am still playing catch-up and doing lots of other things besides stamping! I did find time to stamp a beautiful thank you card yesterday for someone special. I saw this card in our Fall-Winter Sampler Brochure (you don’t have this yet, just demos)…….
I thought it was gorgeous, but wanted to do a full sized card to mail out to my friend. So I tweeked it a little bit and here is my new card…….
What do you think? I loved it so much it was truly hard to send away in the mail! This card uses the new set Flight of the Butterfly, Styled Silver Hodgepodge Hardware (now comes in Vanilla too!!!), Summer Picnic Designer Series Paper (yes, it is in the new catalog), White and Blue Taffeta Ribbon, Bashful Blue and Whisper White Cardstock, Bashful Blue, Apricot Appeal, and Basic Gray Ink.
Notice the gem in the middle of the butterfly/flower??? I took one of our Rhinestone Brads and disassembled it so I only had a flat little gem out of the middle. I adhered it to the flower with a little bit of our Tombow Glue — another one of my new favorites! I chose to do the text in Basic Grey to soften it just a little bit. I though that Basic Black would be too harsh for this delicate card. I hope you like this as much as I did!
Unfortunately I have to head to out of town with Malachi today and it will take up a big chunk of my day. But, I will update later if the catalogs arrive! Hopefully so!
On a personal note, Charles has broken out with Nicaraguan Poison Ivy (or something just like Poison Ivy) which we are not happy about. If you don’t know, he is violently allergic to this and it usually goes systemic in his entire body. The first time he had it when the girls were very small, he missed a month of work and was so sick that we nearly had to hospitalize him. I am not exaggerating. It is just a weird thing with his body. He has had it 2 more times in our marriage and it is always a long drawn out thing. This time, it is in his eyes, all around his eyes…….he looks like he was in a fight and he is miserable. He has no idea how he got it, as most of the time they were doing construction work with concrete, steel, etc. I am sad for him that this is his “pay” for Mission Work……please pray that he gets better and responds to the steroids soon. Last time it took about 4 rounds of steroids, so we will see!
Thanks for everything! Dawn
