They’re off to school!

My little baby girls began 6th grade, 9th grade, and 10th grade this morning……….wow, do I feel old!!!   They were excited about seeing their friends and wearing new clothes!  When they come home with all the homework and projects………..well, let’s just say we will all be wishing for summer days again!  (And in case you were wondering, I didn’t cry this morning.  I know some of you won’t believe me, but I didn’t!)

I am not sure why this photo is so big……..I did the same thing to this photo that I did to all the others.  Sometimes I just can’t seem to get along with technology!  Here is Sarah — proud of her new backpack and lunchbox — and the color scheme that matches.  Whose child is this?  🙂

Here is the photo that I was lucky to get of the girls going in to the high school.  I am not allowed to get any “good photos” of them going off to school any more.  They are too embarrassed and do not fully understand the importance of scrapbooking the milestones in life.  I can’t wait until they have kids of their own and they can see how it feels……….at any rate…… they are!

So, tonight is “Meet the Leopards” where we get to meet all the football players, the band, and build up all the team spirit!  Tomorrow night is Club #1.  I think I better get busy cutting paper……have a great day!

  1. Dawn, I love the backpack and lunch box!

  2. Dawn, you are stronger than I am. I cried when I dropped Paige off for her first day of preschool this morning! Just a few little tears! I can’t believe my baby is already 3. She loved it and had a great morning.
