Polka Dot Punches and Botanical Blooms

I  am featuring a few samples using two of the Sale-A-Bration sets.  I have lots more to show, but I better “pace it out” so I can show you new things every day.   If you missed the first post today, please scroll down to read about the details and benefits of Sale-A-Bration.

If you ever thought you wanted to be a demonstrator — as a business, or just for fun! — now is the time.  Our kit is on sale for $169, Stampin’ Up! is throwing in a FREE set (ANY set in the catalog) and so am I!!!  Yes, you will get two more sets — and you can even pick the most expensive sets in the catalog and we won’t mind a bit!

Botanical Blooms — a soft floral set — 2 Step Stampin’ — very feminine and romantic — 6 floral images and one verse

This first card uses Chocolate Chip, Pink Pirouette, and Chocolate Chip DSP.  Notice the very tiny pink flowers on the printed paper???  I colored them with a Pretty in Pink Marker to help co-ordinate the paper and the stamped images.  I really am glad I thought of this……seems to make this card all come together.

The Certainly Celery Card features the flowers only (without the stems) so I used Stampin’ Write Markers to color the flower only.  To make the pink flowers, you will stamp the flower with the pointed petals twice.  Turn them around so they butt up against each other and it looks like an 8 petaled flower.  I saw someone do this on SCS and I really liked the variation.   I embossed the verse with White Kraft Ink and White Powder……….sorry it appears a little blurry, not sure what happened there.  OOPS!

This Pacific Point cards features the TOP NOTE Die from the Big Shot Collection.  I used a Blender Pen and colored around the edges to “frame” it up and cut off the bottom to create a straight edge where the ribbon is tied.  The DSP is from Bella Rose.  botanical-3

Polka Dot Punches — 4 images that match up with 4 of our punches — fun and whimsical — very easy to use

Supplies:  Cardstock:  Kiwi Kiss, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White, Raspberry Tart DSP; 5 petal punch, White Embossing Powder, White Kraft Pad, Rose Red Grosgrain Ribbon.

To make this card, I stamped an entire sheet of Whisper White cardstock.  I used all of the images except the heart.  I cut it up and plan on making several cards similar to this one.  Colors:  Kiwi Kiss, Pacific Point, Tangarine Tango.  The words are from the set called “Thank you Kindly” on page 133 of the Idea Book and Catalog.

This last card used a totally different color scheme, but I really liked how it turned out so crisp and clean.  I used another verse from “Thank You Kindly” along with Basic Black, Real Red, and Kraft cardstock.

This gives you a little peak at the many awesome cards I will show you using the SAB sets.  Have a great week!  It is almost MONDAY………can you hear me groaning????
