This is one of my new sets — “Cheep Talk” — isn’t it cute? And the DSP is the new “Good Morning Sunshine!”……….doesn’t it just make you want to smile? I created this quick little card because I was dying to get something done with NEW stuff (since I have been using up all the old DSP) and reward myself with cutting into a new pack of paper! It was awesome!
Supplies Used: Stamp Set: Cheep Talk; Paper: Pacific Point, Old Olive, and Good Morning Sunshine DSP; Ink: Pacific Point; Markers: Old Olive, Summer Sun and Chocolate Chip; Accessories: Dimensionals (to pop up the leaves), Olive Wide Grosgrain Ribbon.
Here is a close-up of the leaves. I added some dimensional pieces to the back of them to pop them off the card.
I also used some of the brown patterned paper from “Good Morning Sunshine” to make these cute “Crazy for Cupcake” cards. I was inspired by my fellow demonstrator Michele Force……….check out her cards here!
I also made some with Green Galore and Pink………really girl-y!!!
The next batch of cards is ready for a gift………just stocking up for birthdays and such………I used the Retired DSP called “Spring Fling” and a CURRENT set called “Always In My Thoughts”. These were super quick and easy using co-ordinating paper and ribbons in Pink Pirouette, Pretty in Pink, Certainly Celery, and So Saffron. I used my favorite punches, too, and the words all fit in the 1 1/4″ circle. The verses in this set include: so sad to hear of your loss, get well soon, thinking of you, thoughts and prayers are with you, and heartfelt wishes. There is another image that is a flower pot with flowers………I am embarrassed to tell you that I am not 100% sure, but I think they are daffodils……I will show you that card tomorrow. I really like it, too.
I think that is enough for today. I am trying to make some more baby quilts for some more new babies born into some church families and I don’t even have them cut out yet! And, I really need to tackle some chores! Bummer! Have a great day……….please let me know what you think of these ideas! I love to hear from you!!!!

Ah, thanks, Dawn! Your cards are fabulous!!
