Home from Dallas!

We have just returned home from a very brief 24 hours in Dallas.  Actually, Lindsey and Sarah have been there since Tuesday.  Allyson needed to stay home for Track Practice and Soccer Practice and I had a workshop Thursday morning.  (That was just yesterday, although it seems like a few days ago!)  We went to Dallas in search of THE PERFECT Prom Dress for Allyson.  We had seen a few here, but nothing that we were ready to buy in a heartbeat.  Well………we went to the very first place in Dallas and found it!!!!  We were so, so, so excited.  We were having alot of trouble finding something to fit her (a size zero — don’t we WISH we were that tiny)………but they actually had quite a few in Dallas.  We needed it altered a little bit (I was nervous about ruining it and finding time to do it) so they even had a tailor 4 doors down that did it today for us!!!!  My mom had a great time being “in” on the process and it made her feel special to see Allyson in the dress.  I feel like a big weight has been lifted off of me……….and she is so proud of her dress.  Zack does not want to see it, but he does know that it is an eggplant/purple color and it is a beautiful irridescent fabric.  You will have to wait until April 25th to see it!!!!  Believe me, there will be photos posted on the blog!  If you are DYING to know what it looks like, I can privately e-mail you a photo.    We also shopped for spring clothes for the other two girls……..I didn’t forget about them!

Here is a card that I did at my workshop last week and also at my workshop yesterday.  All of the supplies are Sale-A-Bration products with the exception of the solid cardstock.  The Delicate Dots Designer Series Paper was used for the 4 squares.  I punched them using the 1 1/4″ square punch.  The ribbon is the Certainly Celery Twill which is part of the Ribbon Bundle.  The flower was stamped with the Polka Dot Punches Stamp Set and then punched with the 5 Petal Flower.  You can receive the paper, the ribbon bundle, or the stamp set FREE with a $50 purchase.  There are some other stamp sets available, too.  Please call me or use our 24/7 online ordering to take advantage of this offer through March 31st.   The solid cardstock colors are So Saffron, Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, and Sahara Sand.  The words are from “Much Appreciated”.

I have a really fun TeePee card to show you tomorrow…………with several photos of how to construct it.    Time to crash after shopping and driving home in the rain and heavy, heavy traffic!!!!
