First, just quick photo of the Easter treats that I made for the school teachers……….forgot to post this last week! They are made using the Big Shot Scallop Box and the bunny is from “Eight Great Greetings” in the Occasions Mini Catalog. Great set………you might want to give it some serious thought. Each stamp is a different occasion, making it a very versatile set. I punched out the Wide Oval and place a piece of transparency film in the hole. I also used the Scalloped cirlce punch and the 1 3/8″ circle punches on this project.
Now for some family photos!
Saturday night Dying Eggs
Sarah really worked hard on her eggs for an hour or more….this was my favorite egg!
Easter Sunday Morning
We woke up to very stormy weather, but I managed to get a few photos on the porch while the rain had let up just a bit. We were headed off to church and had to be there at 8:00, so we hurried and snapped a few photos……….just to make ME happy (as the kids would say!)…
We feel so blessed on this Easter Sunday to have our family healthy and close by. We had a glorious Easter celebrating the resurrection!
The sun started popping out around lunch time……….so these photos were better and it was so nice outside. A little humid, but such a joy to see the sunshine after a morning of storms.
Charles and his parents
A new photo of us that I actually like!
Checking out daddy’s nose…
Hunting eggs…..some of them had MONEY in them……..finders, keepers!!! The ground was really soggy, so they ran around in their bare feet and rolled up their jeans………it was pretty cute! Allyson ended up with the most money ($14) with the rest only getting 3 or 4 dollars……….she was mighty happy!
Lindsey and Kelsey were fighting to get an egg out of the trailer hitch on the truck…….
The kids think they have to play a game of Tri-Ominoes every time we go to Grammy’s………so here they are!
And here is how it all ended……….Kimberlynn was the only smart one! She took a NAP!!!
