Hello and Good Morning to all! I have not posted in a few days……….as you noticed, huh?? But have no fear, I am busy at work! I am preparing many, many, many projects for my annual Customer Appreciation Party on Tuesday. If you are a customer of mine, hopefully you received your personal invitation to be a guest of honor at this event. If not, please contact me right away. Things sometimes happen with “snail mail” and I want to extend an invitation if you didn’t get yours. I will have many little things to show you after the weekend (when I plan to have it all finished)……but the next 3 posts will be my June Club Projects. Group #1 has already met and loved them! Group #2 meets tonight………..can’t wait to see my gals! It will be a fun night!
Speaking of Club Classes…….this is the LAST meeting for this “Stampin’ Up! year” but new groups will be forming in August. Would you like to join us once a month for projects planned exclusively for YOU??? All the supplies are ready and waiting………you even get full color photos and instructions typed by your Creative Coach (me) and patterns to take home each month! You get a NEW CATALOG FOR FREE! And once during the year, you get all the hostess benefits, too! Doesn’t this sound like fun? It is!!! Think it over and stay tuned for sign up details coming in July.
Club Project #1
This is a quick and easy gift card holder that uses small pieces of DSP…..great for our “scraps” laying around as left-overs from bigger projects. The only thing I stamped is the saying from “Happy Everything”. I used Basic Gray, Pink Pirouette, and Soft Sky on this project. The pink DSP is from “Bella Rose” and the Soft Sky is from “Parisian Breeze”.
Start with a piece of cardstock that is 4 ¼” x 9” and score it at 3 and 7 ¼”. You will fold the 3” piece up and secure on the right and left sides with Sticky Strip but WAIT and do this after you have added the felt flower and DSP to the bottom section. The DSP strips at the bottom measure ¾” each and the pink piece is scalloped on one edge. You will not notice this until the card is opened up. The top piece of DSP is 2 ¾” x 4”. You will need a piece of ribbon approx. 18” long to wrap around the card.
