What a fun, exciting day we had yesterday! We had more snow here in Texas than I think I have EVER seen — and that includes all of my 42 years! It was a great joy to have the kids home from school by 10 am, and we quickly went outside to make a snowman and throw snowballs! I must admit that after 2 loads of wet clothes, mud/water tracked all over the floors, and trying to keep the fire burning all day long, I was realizing that it wouldn’t be fun if it happened EVERY day. I am not complaining, don’t get me wrong! I really, really hate the hot summers we have in Texas. I really, really like the cold weather!!! But I can certainly see why folks up North get really sick of the snow. You get my drift….??? These photos were taken about 11 in the morning, and it continued to snow ALL DAY long. It was amazing…….and we ended up with much more than you see in these photos. You guys who live up north will be laughing by now, but this is BIG NEWS in Texas!!!
And now for a quick Stampin’ Up! project……..we made these at Jo’s workshop last week. They are magnetic bookmarks. We stamped them with Vintage Labels (Sale-A-Bration) and used Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Series Paper. These bookmarks are 9″ long, scored in half. I think they were 2″ wide, maybe 2 1/2″. Sorry but I have no idea where the originals are……oops!
