Friendship Card

Several weeks ago, one of my “blogging friends” — who is also a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator — asked me to participate in a Sketch Challenge.  I have been too busy to really even THINK about it, but this past Monday I decided to give it a quick try.    Here was her sketch, and she had one stamped card to go along with it.

Now remember, I said that I gave it a QUICK try…….and do I ever mean quick!  I grabbed some of my fabric DSP instead of stamping on some cardstock and whipped out this variation of her sketch.  What do you think for a five minute card?  I was pretty excited……..and I just have to remind you that the Curvy Verses (from page 140 in the catalog) are still some of  my all time favorite words!!!  Do you know why I love them?  They are NOT straight and I don’t have to worry about lining them up straight!  I love the ease of using them……and no worries about messing up my card!

Supplies used:

Sweet Pea Paper Stack

Sahara Sand, Rose Red, and Chocolate Chip Cardstock

Rose Red Narrow Grosgrain Ribbon

Curvy Verses Stamp Set

Designer Buttons:  Button Latte
