Two Step into Spring and Weekend Photos

I posted details last week on our new promotion for April. This promotion titled “Two Step into Spring” features a gorgeous new stamp set called “Awash with Flowers” — it has 18 pieces!  It is so perfect for the spring, floral type of cards that I’m in the mood to create these days……

This was my first time to play with this set, and I was pretty pleased with my first card.  I will show you more throughout the week so you can see the many different flowers that are included.  I used Pale Plum, Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Certainly Celery, and Whisper White — and the DSP is from Cottage Wall.  I actually built my entire card around the color scheme on the DSP……such an easy way to build a card!  Have I told you lately that I love our printed paper?

This Two-Step Stampin’ Set features outline images and solid images that can be used together (as on my card) or separately.  They look great either way — lots of flexibility and lots of images.  You can earn this set for FREE when you host a $350 workshop or you can purchase it for $27.95 (clear)/$39.95(wood).

On a personal note, I must stop and tell all of you that read my blog that we had an amazing  weekend.  Lindsey had a gorgeous prom, we had a family wedding, but the BEST NEWS OF ALL…….we got to talk and e-mail with our baby’s new adoptive parents.  YES!!!!  We finally know where she is going and we are in love with this couple.  We have prayed for 18 months for God to provide the perfect parents for our precious little baby girl, and we now have an answer to our prayers.  We will get to meet them face-t0-face in the next week or two, but for now we are so thrilled to know their heart and their intentions to raise our little foster baby in a Christian home.  They are perfect for her in every way…….and you just can’t imagine our tears of joy!  We are still in shock a little bit, and of course the emotional journey of letting her go will be facing us very soon.  But God has provided, and we are so, so thankful.  And I know that God will help me get through the tough days ahead, as well.  Please rejoice with me!!!!  This is such a blessing for us, and for our baby!
