April Club Project — One Sheet Wonder

Our April Project comes from an idea that Diane Noble has on her blog.  Please go to Diane’s Designs and see her lovely work.  She sells templates and project planners from time to time and I always grab them up!  She has become a friend of mine in “cyberspace” and I can’t wait to meet her someday.  She is a pastor’s wife, and has a heart of gold!  She has truly ministered to me in a special way, and I am constantly unlifted by her.  Go “see” her!

The One Sheet Wonder concept is such a fun one!  The basic idea is to cut up a piece of paper in several small pieces and use those pieces on your projects.  I have done this before, but never with a sheet of our Designer Series Papers.  Talk about adding pizzazz to your projects!  And quickly, too!  So, I can NOT give you the template  — you have to buy that from Diane — but I did want to show you a few of the cards I made with my One Sheet Wonder template.  I will NOT show all ten of the projects that she created (all with ONE piece)…….don’t want to spill the beans!  But you will see part of the projects and I hope you will be inspired to create your own, or purchase Diane’s lovely FULL COLOR instructions for all 10 projects.  You will love it!

Baby update:  We will be meeting her new adoptive parents at 10 a.m. today and then decisions for the rest of the week will be made.  Their hope is to have her moved permanently to their home by the weekend.  So……things may happen really fast!  We are so excited about meeting them and anxious all at the same time.  We have talked over the phone and e-mailed for over a week now……we really feel like we know them already!  Can’t wait to hug their necks!

  1. I love doing these one sheet wonders with different papers. Change the paper and it looks like a completely different card! These are gorgeous, Dawn! Thanks for your sweet comments. I’ll be praying for you today.

  2. Dawn, these are GREAT!

That is really fast with the baby, I thought there was usually an adjustment period (which I would think would make it easier on all involved!) You are in my prayers!
