Good Morning! We had such a great time at our club class last night, and I can’t wait to see my other group on Thursday night! And we even got a little surprise visitor last night……..Kimi came by to see us! A few of the gals got to see her and meet her new mommy! It was a short visit — they were headed back to the Dallas area and stopped at our house for a little break. I was so excited, as I didn’t think we’d see her until summer. She let me hold her the whole time, and even cried when Charles tried to take her and hold her — that melted my heart and made me feel so special!
So, now on to the cards…..these are the thank you’s that I made for the moms who helped me with the Senior Breakfast on Sunday morning. I helped organize all the food, decorations, etc. as we honored our Seniors who are graduating this month. I couldn’t have done it without these moms and I enjoyed making cards to show my appreciation to them. I found this design at www.flowerbug.typepad.com. LeeAnn Greff has a great site that I recently discovered — go check her place out! I needed something quick and easy……..and this card fit the bill!
I had twelve moms who helped provide food……..so I needed all of these!
I changed the colors a wee bit and did groups of four…….and the Tea Party DSP had such a spring feeling to it. I loved the different combinations!
I used words from Thank You Kindly and Short & Sweet Stamp sets. And of course, the punches made it really quick and easy to do all 12.
Notice the little border? I scored it on each side with my Paper Trimmer for a little added effect — thanks to LeeAnn for this awesome idea. I often forget about little things like this that make a BIG DIFFERENCE in my card’s overall look. And don’t for to stamp the back of your cards! I love my personalized stamps!!! I usually stamp it in the same color as the cardstock so that it is a subtle finisheing touch. Have a great day!
