Spring (or Summer!) is in the air…

Well, it’s actually getting a little too warm for Spring — seems like we’ve jumped to summer this week.  And when the kids get out of school next week, I will have to say “it’s official”……summer is here to stay!

I wanted to show you two more special cards from Sheryl and Cheryl.  These are two very special ladies who were in attendance at my VERY FIRST WORKSHOP eleven years ago!  Oh, my…….can’t believe it…..it’s been eleven years since Sheryl hosted my very first workshop at her house.  WOW!   I’m happy to say that I planted a little seed for cardmaking and papercrafting — and they are still crafting after all these years!  Look at these gorgeous cards they sent me this spring.

There are so many reasons to love these cards…….but most of all, the joy I get when I look at them and know that they were made from the heart.  These two ladies are so genuine and love the Lord with all their heart.  I know that when they give their cards away, they give a piece of their heart!  Love you, ladies!!!!

So……..I apologize for not getting my OWN cards on the blog, but I just haven’t spent any time stamping this week.  I have done several scrapbook pages, though, and I’m making progress in the girls’  scrapbooks.  I’ve also gotten the teacher gifts ready, except for some baked goodies that I need to make for the men teachers.  I always feed the men……..I’m sure they DO NOT want my hand-crafted masterpieces!  I must say, I am thoroughly enjoying the quiet house — bracing for the “storm” that will hit next week — ha!  We have so much to do this summer, I know it will go by fast.  Have a great day!
