I’m going to miss this gorgeous Bermuda Bay cardstock………it reminds me of our Stampin’ Up! Cruise to Bermuda several years ago……and oh, those are such fond memories! Well, back to reality — sorry!
Seriously, though, this color will be gone soon, and we get to usher in a bunch of new beauties! My office is clean, organized, and SO, SO READY for some new shades of ink and paper! I can’t wait. I have my file folders tagged and in the perfect order. My shelf for my stamp pads are marked and ready…….now I just need Mr. Brown to deliver the goods!!!! He brought me two little piddly packages yesterday and I fussed at him. I told him he better come back with some REALLY BIG boxes by the end of the week! HA! He’s a really cute blonde, and he’s been my UPS man for as long as I can remember. He goes to church with two of my neighbors and they say he is just as wonderful “off” the job as he is “on” the job. I believe it……..he is so nice! But I love to tease him this time of year. He knows that I am waiting on those catalogs and new products……..and when the boxes are REALLY heavy, he knows that I will be waiting on the street to stalk him!
Enough about Mr. Brown…….better explain the simple beauty of this card. The featured product is the Speciatly Paper Presto Patterns that you see down the left side of this card. We “magically” made the floral image appear on the white cardstock by sponging Bermuda Bay ink in a circular motion. The only other special addition can be found in the center of the flower. We added Crystal Effects and Micro Beads (retiring also!) to the center of the flower. It added shimmer and texture to the focal image.
We used Soft Suede (NOT retiring) for the cardstock and ribbon accents. This stamp set is Flower Fancy — also not retiring — yeah!
Have a great day and please let me know if you need any Stampin’ Up! products!
