Just Believe with Embossed Resist Technique

Today’s card is one that I created for my workshop today…….and it is an original!  Yeah, go ahead and pass out!  Can’t believe I dreamed this up on my own, and I actually like it, too!  It uses an embossing technique called Emboss Resist.  I recommend that you go to SplitCoast Stampers for a great tutorial on how to do it.  I used Versamark Ink and Clear Embossing Powder to stamp the floral image from Just Believe.  After embossing, I sponged it with Sponge Daubers using Soft Suede, Pear Pizazz, and Marina Mist.  The cardstock colors are Early Espresso, Pear Pizazz, and Marina Mist.   I love the new little Vintagae Trinkets, so I added the little safety pin and Tiny Tag Punch as an accent on the ribbon.  My ladies coming today are very established customers, so I was trying to come up with something different and using different/new supplies, too.   I hope you like it.

Below are 2 more cards using the same technique.  If you need any “recipes”, just let me know.  My class is about to get going, so I better sign off for now.  Enjoy your day!

Medallion card above uses Pacific Point and  Basic Black

This bottom card uses Bashful Blue, Soft Suede, and the Soft Suede Ribbon is retired (sorry!)…….just gotta use up my stash!
