I am thrilled to announce that you can begin ordering from the Holiday Mini Catalog today. You may have received the Mini Catalog in the mail, but if you need a copy, please send me a message. I will put a copy in the mail to you. I am continually amazed at the artwork and samples in our SU Publications. They always exceed my expectations, and this catalog is even better than I imagined. I have to admit that I am MOST excited about the fabric!!! We have 6 new fabrics (in groups of 3) and you will enjoy the “seasonal” look of them, but be able to use them for many projects that are NOT seasonal. Stampin’ Up! did a fantastic job of keeping the fabric “neutral” so that it could be used over and over again. I also love the jumbo buttons that are paired up with many of the projects. I can’t wait to give the fabric a spin with some of my quilt projects and run it through the Big Shot, too.
I’d like to show you a few ideas from Convention this summer. First, I liked these fabric strips that they used to decorate the loaves of bread. (And you can find those cute tags in the Mini, also.) What a simple way to wrap up a gift! To get the homespun look, and the frayed edges, you wil want to TEAR the fabric from edge to edge — instead of cutting it.
I thought these little fabric bags were adorable…….what a great way to package a variety of gifts — food mixes, cookies, jewelry, candy — you name it! These would require minimal sewing, or you can glue them together if you don’t sew at all…..
And how about this adorable baby bib? You knew I’d love this one, huh?
Well, there will be many more projects coming up with the Holiday Mini Catalog items………but I need to find some time in my craft room, first. Somehow my other jobs keep getting in the way 🙂 Something called parenting, ya’ know? Have a great day!
