Got treats?

Hello friends!  Today’s post features the new stamp set “GOT TREATS” on page 55 in the IB&C.  I created a small gift bag/treat holder using a small size lunch bag — sandwiching it between cardstock and tying it up with our gorgeous Wide Striped Grosgrain Ribbon.  I used Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black, Old Olive, and Chocolate Chip markers to color the stamp image.   I free-handed the dots and dashes around the edge of the Very Vanilla cardstock with my Basic Black marker using the fine tip.   The polka dotted paper is from the Love Letter DSP collection.

Here is side view to help you see how I placed the paper bag between the cardstock.  Each piece of Pumpkin Pie cardstock measures 4″ x 5 1/2″.  I trimmed the paper bags to be about 4″ tall (they are about 7″ normally).  The “handle” is made using the Word Window Punch.

The second sample is made with the Jolly Holiday DSP collection.  These two are almost the same,  but I did some piercing with the Piercing Mat and Punch on the corners of the gingerbread image.

Another side view………hope you like these samples!  Go ahead and make some NOW…….stash them in a cabinet and save them until December……..they will come in handy before you know it!!!
