Good morning friends! I’m headed to Abilene today with Allyson. I think my car is starting to find its way there on its own…… We are going so she can take the tests required for “testing out” of Spanish. This will determine how many semesters she can get credit for, based on her 4 years of HS Spanish. We are hoping for at least 2 semesters, and anything more will be a “bonus”. It will be another quick trip there and back, but I’m looking forward to mother/daughter time, even if it is in the car!
Today’s card was made for a dear friend of mine who just had her first grandbaby! She is still floating in the clouds because she is the mother of 5 boys! And they finally have a PRINCESS around……and word has it that she is already spoiled rotten! Imagine that!
I am a little embarrassed to tell you how old the stamps are on this card. I’ve had them for at least 6 years, I think. That shows you how much I like them, huh? Most of you know that I sell most of my retired stamps when they retire, and rarely hold onto them. I just can’t seem to part with this one, though. It makes the sweetest little baby cards — girls or boys, either one. I combined the stamps with some floral DSP from a retired pack of paper, some Pink Pirouette Cardstock, Very Vanilla Cardstock, and a few embellishments. I couldn’t resist adding lace to this card, in celebration of all things girlie!!! And some pearls, too…..did you see them on the wheels?
Have great day! I’ll be back tomorrow with another hand-made surprise!
