Quint-Essential Flower Card

We are beginning the second full day of Stampin’ Up! Convention 2012.  Yesterday was a full day of classes and ended with an amazing awards ceremony.  I have laughed and laughed until my stomach hurts.  My Stampin’ Up! girlfriends are the most amazing group of girls  — and we have shared many ups and downs this past year.  It is great for all of us to take a break from reality and LAUGH!  The Bible tells us that laughter is good medicine, and a week like this is a great reminder of that truth!

Then our mouth was filled with laughter

And our  tongue with joyful shouting;

Then they said among the nations,

“The Lord has  done great things for them.”  Psalm 126:2

 We were being silly and putting our hands on our hips like our teenage girls do!  Ha!

My card today is another card that I made to swap with other demonstrators at convention.  I used a SINGLE stamp for this card called “Quint-Essential Flower” and it sells for $8.95 in the new Stampin’ Up! Catalog.  I stamped it with 4 different colors (Marina Mist, Daffodil Delight, Gumball Green and Calypso Coral) along with the new Embossing Folder Fancy Fan and the Scalloped Square Big Shot Die.  The use of 4 different punches made this card a fun one to assemble!

The small “Thanks” stamp is from the stamp set “Kindness Matters”.
