Daydream Medallions {again…}

I just returned home from a couple of days with my girlfriends at Three Mountain Retreat…….peace and tranquility and rest!  But I took several sewing projects with me and had a great time working on those while we talked and talked and talked some more.  I will look forward to taking photos of them and showing you soon.  I made 2 purses, a small quilt top, a pin cushion/thread catcher thingy, a Halloween table runner, and the 3rd block for a block-a-month quilt.  I was pleased with my progress and it was GREAT therapy for me.  But now I’m home and it’s back to business!

I have a Stampin’ Up! Downline meeting tomorrow night and an event at my church on Thursday night…….and I’m not quite ready for either of them.  So, better keep this post short and simple and get busy!

This card uses Daydream Medallions and the coordinating Framelits Dies.  I also used a strip of fabric for the accent along the bottom of the card and based my color scheme from this fabric.

I really like the way these stamps and floral shapes layer up and make such a pretty image.  You can certainly do much more than flowers with them, but this is what I like most.  🙂   I added one of our tiny clear buttons to the center.   I punched the matching shape in Rich Razzleberry cardstock and used Crystal Effects to hold it all together.

Great news…….the Spooktacular Promotion has been extended until September 16th!  If you happen to have missed out on this wonderful opportunity and you’d STILL like to visit with me about joining my downline group, please contact me.  We also have a meeting tomorrow night that you could attend and see what it’s all about.  It’s at my house, and I’d love to have you!   If you sign up to be a demonstrator before Sept. 16th, you will get all these supplies to create the Printer’s Tray on the left.  PLUS……FIVE NEW STAMP PADS from me!  I want to make sure you have all the supplies to get your business started and plenty of new pads to stamp with.
