First of all…….Sale-A-Bration is coming to a close! You have until March 31st (TOMORROW)to get your order in! Please call me or let me know how I can help you! The easiest way to order is to go directly to my website: jdderrick.stampinup.net There are so many great products to choose from! How about Petal Potpourri and the matching punch? You will really enjoy the versatility and the punch! We used the technique of “Kissing” on this sample.
In order to make the flowers, you will ink up the flower using Melon Mambo ink. Then take the stamp and press it firmly onto the Positively Chevron image. Lift up and prepare to stamp on your cardstock. You will notice that there are now two shades of Melon Mambo. The lighter part is where you “removed” part of the ink when you “kissed” the stamps together. Now when you stamp each flower you will get a chevron-patterned flower on the front of your card! The rest is simple and straight forward. Hope you enjoyed seeing a new technique — or if it wasn’t truly new, perhaps you enjoyed a new idea for using the “old”.
