I am so excited to share my fun stamping projects with my Stamp Club ladies this week! I have two cards, and a 3-D project for them to create. I can’t claim any creative credits for them……all of them were inspired by fellow demonstrators and can be found elsewhere. As always, I will link you back to the place where I received my inspiration. I am so thankful for Pinterest! Can I get an “amen”??? Since I’m not doing so well with regular blog posting, I decided to lump all 3 projects into one blog post and go for it! So, maybe this is a better solution for me at this stage of my life. (*maybe*)
This adorable 3-D Cup Holder is my first project and was inspired by Lisa Curcio. She does some great videos, as well……and I am not branching into the filming industry any time soon! So I hope you will enjoy the details provided by Lisa and view some of her other Easter goodies while you are there. CLICK HERE to head over to her blog. You may have seen me use these mini coffee cups on other projects in years past. I love them! They are so tiny and adorable, and you can fill them with small candies, or a single K-Cup for a Keurig coffee maker. They are available online at Webstaurant Store and the lids are sold separately (found here.)
My second project was inspired by Tami White’s creation on her blog Stamp With Tami. I made a few minor changes to create more of a focus on the verse, rather than the “egg”. I hope you enjoy seeing this project. The verse is from the Spring Occasions catalog and can be found in the set “Suite Sayings”. Do you recognize the “swoosh” used to create the pastel strips on the egg? That image is from the “Work of Art” stamp set. Really? Who thinks of these things? Someone with more time and creative juices than me! I am so thankful that I don’t have to reinvent the wheel……aren’t you? I think I decided that I like the pearls in the center of the flowers (instead of the Rhinestones) — what do you think?
My last project was inspired by a few that I saw on Pinterest, but not a specific website or blog. I used the precious little chick from Honeycomb Hello. It is one of our Sale-A-Bration stamp sets — FREE with any $50 purchase. After you see all the cards I made with it, it may move to the top of your list 🙂
These three baby cards were made using a Paper Piecing Technique. I stamped the image on cardstock and then cut it out. I used So Saffron, Soft Sky, and Pink Pirouette. So you will stamp the image on your Whisper White Cardstock and then AGAIN on your colored cardstock. Cut it out and adhere it on top of your white cardstock. Make sure you use a Pumpkin Pie or Tangerine Tango marker to color the beaks and feet. I embossed the words (from Crazy About You) with Versamark and Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder, and added a gold bow. Aren’t these the cutest things EVER? But wait until you see the other images in the set. My next post will feature some additional cards I made using this stamp set.
