I’m happy to be entering into a new year……and a new Stampin’ Up! year, as well! You know you did a horrible job of blogging when you can’t even remember all the log-in information and passwords to your OWN blog! Whoa! I really have great intentions on posting more, stamping more, sewing more, and sharing more! 2017 is off to a great start, and Sale-A-Bration is in full swing! We have the new products in the Occasions Catalog, as well as the FREE rewards in the SAB book, so I am very excited to ink up some new images and share some new samples!
The first item on my agenda involved writing “Thank You Notes” for all of my wonderful Christmas presents that I received, so I cleaned up my office on Saturday — it was a catch-all during the holidays — and now I feel like I have an organized space to let the creative juices flow. Not sure about you, but there is something quite exhilarating about working on a clean desk! In the process of cleaning up, I discovered all the leftover pieces of paper from one of my December Club projects (that sadly never made it to the blog!) and I decided to put them to good use for my thank yous.
I was super excited to use the large THANK YOU image in the Sale-A-Bration set I received in my Demonstrator Pre-Order. It is called “SO VERY MUCH” and can be found on page 8. I needed to quickly make about 20 of these, so I felt that the large image and the pre-cut paper sitting on my desk was just the way to go!
Like I said, I was going for quick as easy! This is a flat card, that will not require extra postage, and I was happy about using Christmas colors as I remembered my Christmas gifts. Of course this card could have been stepped up with some ribbon or some bling! I know it will be too flat and too simple for some of you, but it was fun to get back to stamping, use my new images, and just play a little in my clean office. I show you another variation tomorrow that is NOT red and green. I hope you’ll come back and see me in 2017. I’m starting to get fired up again, and I hope to post a lot more this year!
