Watercoloring with Bella & Friends

Today I want to share some of the most precious cards I have ever seen.  I’m in love with this puppy (and truthfully I’m not really a “dog” person by nature) thanks to these cards made by my assistant Sara.  I’m so glad that I can show you some samples using stamps that I don’t own to add a little variety here and there.  Sara is new to my area, and I’m enjoying getting to know her on a personal level and extending some Texas Stampin’ Up! hospitality!

I also want to remind you to RSVP for my Valentine’s Class on Saturday morning from 10-12.  The class fee will be $2 per card/candy treat, so you can make as many as you have time for, and money for.  I have 8 cards and 2 treats for you to choose from.  You can see samples in my previous blog entry.

Don’t you love the coordinating envelopes Sara made?  They really make the cards extra special!  Sarah watercolored these cards using an Aqua Painter and ink from Stampin’ Up! Classic Stamp Pads.   For the puppy below, a Blender Pen was used.   You’ll notice that watercoloring is especially effective on Stampin’ Up!’s Shimmery White cardstock.  It has such a perfectly smooth finish and a little bit of sparkle never hurts!  If you don’t have this product, you’ll definitely want to give it a try!
