It’s time to create some graduation cards and send well wishes to the “Class of 2017” graduates! I found some inspiration on Pinterest, so I can’t claim this idea entirely, but I am using different color schemes to coordinate with the school colors in our area. This one was created for a customer order for one of my coworkers. She loved it, and I hope it will give you some inspiration, also!
If you are local, please join me for my next event on June 1st, as we unveil the new catalog! I will be having a Watercoloring Technique Class featuring 5 ways to watercolor with Stampin’ Up!’s Aqua Painters, and the 5 new colors in the new In Color Collection. I know you will really enjoy this hands-on class being held at my house, at 6:30 p.m. Please join us on Thursday, June 1st, and leave with fresh ideas and a goodie bag, too! Class fee is $15, or free if you place a $30 order. Event details are on my Business Facebook Page, found HERE. Make sure you like my page to stay up to speed with all of my events.
I used a bunch of Dimensionals to give this some depth and stabilize all parts of the numbers. I don’t have a punch for the mortar board, but I free-handed the diamond shape and it turned out fine. For the “cap” part, I took a strip of Basic Black cardstock and cut the end of it with a large heart punch to get the “pointed end” nice and even. ( I hope that makes sense without a picture tutorial. )
