Special Celebrations Banner Card

Today’s card is another one of my Stamp Club cards.  We are having class tonight, and I’m featuring some new stamps sets and new colors that Stampin’ Up! has recently introduced in their new 2017-2018 Annual Catalog.  I received inspiration for this card from Pinterest, it is NOT an original.  Life is too crazy these days for me to spend alot of time creating original designs.  I enjoy the process of cardmaking, but more often than not, I am copying other ideas from Pinterest.  I don’t think I’m alone in this process due to the huge popularity of Pinterest.   I’m so very thankful for others who share their creative juices with me!

It’s a little hard to see the true color of the  Silver Metallic doily.  In real life, the metallic thread and the edges of the metallic doily are really a nice combination and add just the right amount of sparkle to this card.  The stamp set featured here is Special Celebrations.  What attracted me to this stamp set is that each saying has TWO parts.  You can use them on the front, and then coordinate the saying for the inside of a card, as well.  So may times, my customers want to see a card that is decorated on the inside, as well as the outside.  In the past, Stampin’ Up! has offered limited selections of this type, but I’m seeing more of them being produced.  I’ve started working hard to embellish the inside of the cards for my classes, and my customers are enjoying the change.  What about you?  Do you like decorating on the inside of the card?
