Painted Harvest Thankful Card

This is the third and final project we completed at my club class in September.  I just realized that I hadn’t posted it.  The original idea came from Jenny Hall (found on Pinterest).  I have thoroughly enjoyed the items that I’ve stamped using the Painted Harvest bundle.  This stamp set has received lots of love and attention from demonstrators around the world.  Every time you stamp it, it looks a little different, thanks to the…

Masculine Friend Card

Good masculine cards are hard to come by!  And when I saw this one that Connie made, I knew I wanted to CASE it.  Special thanks to Connie for always posting the greatest projects!  At first glance, you may just think this card is created with one piece of Stampin’ Up!’s awesome wood-grain paper…….but look again.  It is actually made with 1″ strips that are cut, sponged for shading, and then attached to cardstock on…

Thanks A Latte Card

My Stamp Club started back up for the school year last week and we enjoyed stamping with new products!  The Coffee Cafe Suite is one of my all-time favorites, and I can’t wait to use it over and over again!  The coordinating Designer Series Paper makes creating even more fun…….and the color scheme automatically makes you think of “Starbucks”.  I don’t think it’s pure coincidence!  Doesn’t this make you just want to get in the…

Watercolor Happy Birthday Card

Tonight’s class features five watercoloring cards.  I’m so excited to teach my customers more about this technique and allow them to be “artists” for the evening.  I can’t wait to see how everyone’s cards turn out, because when you watercolor,  no two cards are ever identical!  You can even “mess up” your card when you are watercoloring, and no one will ever know!  I really enjoy the freedom of using the Aqua Painters and letting…

Happy Birthday Gorgeous Card

How about some glitz and glamour in a birthday card?  I have already used this “Happy Birthday” Thinlit from Stampin’ Up! more times than I can count!  I’m digging the font, and the size!  It fills up my card so nicely and it can even stand alone if you don’t want alot of fuss on your card.  This time I went for the Gold Glitter Paper and used the NEW Sizzix Adhesive Sheets.  These are…

Beautiful Bouquet Anniversary Card

I’ve enjoyed a small amount of creative time using new stamp sets, new colors, and new accessories from Stampin’ Up!  It’s always an exciting time of year when the new goodies start arriving!  This is the first of 3 cards for my June Stamp Club.  It’s no surprise that I’m drawn to all of the new shades of pink…….my favorite color!  And who can resist a new floral stamp set?  But what I was REALLY…

Upcoming Events

I have two opportunities to come stamp at my home during the month of June.  I am going to briefly tell you about them and post the samples this week and next.  I hope you’ll join me if you are local, and would like a chance to have a “ladies night out” with some papercrafting, snacks, and friends! Tuesday, June 13th will be my monthly Stamp Club group.  You do not have to be a…

Time for Graduation Cards!

It’s time to create some graduation cards and send well wishes to the “Class of 2017” graduates!   I found some inspiration on Pinterest, so I can’t claim this idea entirely, but I am using different color schemes to coordinate with the school colors in our area.  This one was created for a customer order for one of my coworkers.  She loved it, and I hope it will give you some inspiration, also! If you…

Eastern Palace Card #5

I enjoyed making another card showcasing the Eastern Medallion Framelits.  Still can’t get over the intricacies of these dies!  Take note of the little dabble of gold accents that I added to this one.  I used the Layering Circle Framelits to cut out the Very Vanilla circle, the gold scalloped circle, and the outside shape of the Lemon Lime Twist medallion.  The dies in the Eastern Medallion set are very versatile — and there are…

Eastern Palace Card #4

Sometimes less is more.  I feel that this card is one of those examples.  And talk about fast and easy……wow!  Notice the stitched details around these square shapes?  This attention to detail is what adds a little “punch” to a simple card.  And I didn’t work any harder to create this……in fact, it was easier than ever.  Check out the Stitched Shapes Framelits in the supply list below.  You’ll get circles, squares, and ovals in…
