Scalloped Circle Basket

This is a little basket made with the largest circle die from the Big Shot Collection (page 197, $19.95).  I got the idea from my sweet friend Jen, and she saw it somewhere online.  I fiddled with it and came up with some scoring measurements that seemed to work out nicely.  Embellished a little bit, and you have a nice little “box” for a small trinket or a small cello bag of candy.    This was…

Big Shot Oval Punch

Today was a “history making” type of day!  I actually stayed home all day long and never even put on my makeup!  I enjoyed a brisk walk with some ladies in my nieghborhood early this morning after the kids went to school.  Then I tackled some chores around here and put some Vegetable Beef Soup in the crockpot so I would have dinner taken care of.  The day was looking great for doing ALOT of…

Movers and Shakers….

No, I’m not talking about a new dance I created………it’s a new Big Shot Die!  You can see this die on page 195 of the Spring Catalog, but you may not quite understand how special it is.   This is the “Curly Label” die — it features a movable magnetic piece that allows you to cut the “window” wherever you want it.  You can move it right, left, top, bottom, or center of your card —…

The last 2 projects…

Here are the remaining 2 projects for my Stamp Class on February 7th.  You will see the “Love” theme in these, too.  I created this Masculine Valentine Card (or an Anniversary Card, perhaps) so we can tell all our hubbies how special they are to us.  This card uses images and words from 3 different set and features a “Buckle Card” for the format. These are 2 samples of the Big Shot Pillow Boxes.  You…

“Love Is In the Air” Class Projects

I have not quite finished ALL of the class projects.  I am still debating on a “masculine” type of card for us to give our hubbies or dads………but I can’t decide for sure.  And I might do one more 3-D project as well………but here are 4 of the projects.  I will get the other 2 on the blog by Wednesday.  I am working today and also have a Foster Parent Meeting tonight, so please be…

Big Shot Baskets

Sorry to post so late today………but I did want you to see the cute little boxes.  This is another project that we are making at my Stamper’s 10 Club Class this month.  These are made with the Big Shot Envelope Die.  You cut out 4 of them and attach them together to form this little box.  The box on the left was made with Tangarine Tango Cardstock.  Then I cut out 4 rectangles measuring 2″…

Big Shot Cards

Today’s cards were made using the BIG SHOT — no stamping!  I used the red, black, and white combination to keep all of them similar — and they make a nice gift ensemble, too!  It is hard to tell on the photos, but I added Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to the snowflakes and they really sparkle. Supplies used:  Big Shot Top Note, Join in the Cheer, Snowflakes;  Whisper White, Real Red Cardstock; Black Grosgrain, Red Gingham…

Happy Birthday, Shelia!!!

Today is Shelia’s birthday…….she is one of my very best friends and we have been scrapbooking buddies for about 11 years now.  WOW!  Where has all the time gone?  We went out to see “Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2” tonight and had so much fun seeing a “Chic Flick!”  I rented the first one, and watched it today so I would be ready for Part 2 tonight.  It made me cry, but it was…
