Epic Celebrations Card

What a fun addition to my stamp collection!  This stamp set is so cute for the teenagers, and more masculine looking cards.  However, my little girl owns a few pair of converse in fun colors, so you can certainly make girl-y cards, too!  Pinterest is FULL of fun samples, and this was one that I found and copied.  We made this card at March’s stamp club.  If you’re looking for a group of women to…

Brusho Crystals — my new love!

Spring is right around the corner and the Texas weather is showing it!  I’ve failed miserably at updating my blog, and my website, and I feel like I apologize more than ever.  But one of these days, I hope to get back to consistent posting.  Things are calming down (dare I say that?) in our house, and I’m making creative time more of a priority.  It is my “therapy” and definitely cheaper than anything else! …

My first card of the new year!

Hello friends!  I’m alive and well………and survived the Derrick-Krone wedding!  It was gorgeous, but left us exhausted and broke, ha!  Don’t all weddings?  This is my second wedding in 18 months, so we have 2 down and 2 to go!  Life with girls is always fun and exciting (but exhausting) — did I mention that I am exhausted?  I titled this post “my first card of the new year” but I actually make about 30…

Painted Harvest Thankful Card

This is the third and final project we completed at my club class in September.  I just realized that I hadn’t posted it.  The original idea came from Jenny Hall (found on Pinterest).  I have thoroughly enjoyed the items that I’ve stamped using the Painted Harvest bundle.  This stamp set has received lots of love and attention from demonstrators around the world.  Every time you stamp it, it looks a little different, thanks to the…

Masculine Friend Card

Good masculine cards are hard to come by!  And when I saw this one that Connie made, I knew I wanted to CASE it.  Special thanks to Connie for always posting the greatest projects!  At first glance, you may just think this card is created with one piece of Stampin’ Up!’s awesome wood-grain paper…….but look again.  It is actually made with 1″ strips that are cut, sponged for shading, and then attached to cardstock on…

Fancy Fold Card with Lovely Labels

This lovely Tri-fold Card was inspired by another Demonstrator, BJ Peters.  Details can be found HERE.  As always, I’m thankful for friends who share, and I always want to give credit where credit is due!   I love how wonderfully this displays our gorgeous DSP and the many different combinations!  And it goes together so quickly!   Here’s a look at the card when you stretch it all out!  The combinations are endless, but I…

With Heartfelt Sympathy Card

Sympathy cards are tough.  You gotta have them, but you never really want to make them.  We made this card a couple of weeks ago at my August Club Class.  I had someone at class who needed a sympathy card for an infant that had passed away.  She wondered if we thought this might be appropriate.  She was glad that we made this floral card because she thought it might work out for her friend.  I…

Thanks A Latte Card

My Stamp Club started back up for the school year last week and we enjoyed stamping with new products!  The Coffee Cafe Suite is one of my all-time favorites, and I can’t wait to use it over and over again!  The coordinating Designer Series Paper makes creating even more fun…….and the color scheme automatically makes you think of “Starbucks”.  I don’t think it’s pure coincidence!  Doesn’t this make you just want to get in the…

Watercolor Happy Birthday Card

Tonight’s class features five watercoloring cards.  I’m so excited to teach my customers more about this technique and allow them to be “artists” for the evening.  I can’t wait to see how everyone’s cards turn out, because when you watercolor,  no two cards are ever identical!  You can even “mess up” your card when you are watercoloring, and no one will ever know!  I really enjoy the freedom of using the Aqua Painters and letting…
