Eastern Beauty Card #1

I’m loving the new Stampin’ Up! catalog………and I’m slowly finding time to play with new products!  I’m a little behind, and you’ve probably seen quite a few cards by now with this Eastern Palace Bundle, but what can I say?  I’m a busy mom that works a full-time job, and my creative time is ultra limited!  But when I do find time to create……..I grab my Big Shot and get it rolling.  These new Eastern…

Easter Blessings {Two Color Schemes}

First of all, let me apologize for not blogging in awhile.  I was on a roll for a little bit, but then a new little foster baby came to our home on March 9th, and we’ve been getting settled in to our new “normal”.  But I want to get some Easter cards posted for you all to see since Easter is quickly approaching!  We made these cards at my club class in March (the VERY…

“Hey, Chick” Easel Card

A few weeks ago I stumbled on a great tutorial for an Easel Card by Susan Campfield.  It was much easier than some of the others I had looked at,  and I was eager to give it a try with some of the Sale-A-Bration stamps.   If you’d like the details on how to create such a fun and fancy card, please visit her blog HERE.  She shows a few additional samples, and her tutorial…

“Any Occasion” Sale-A-Bration Cards

Hello, friends!  I got WAY behind last week.  My little one ended up quite ill with a stomach bug and missed three days of school.  Charles and I were juggling work and “clean up” patrol, along with trying to get some of her schoolwork done so that she didn’t get too far behind.  These cards were from my Stamp Club in February, and I realized that I hadn’t posted them yet.  I want to point…

Thank You “So Very Much” Card

I’m always in need of more “thank you” cards.  How about you?  The beautiful scripted verse is from one of the Sale-A-Bration sets, and I think it may be my favorite one, and definitely is the most practical one.  I know that I will use it a great deal — and it will NEVER go out of style!  It is quite large — so large that you can crank out a handful of cards in…

Happy Valentine’s Day

I hope each of you have a wonderful day celebrating this special day with loved ones.  I hope you find a way to show love to others around you.  You don’t need a spouse or boyfriend/girlfriend to celebrate LOVE!  Friendships, children, sorority sisters, college roommates, and my wonderful church family………these are relationships that come to my mind today.   And ultimately, the love that God shows me each and every day is the love that…

“Hey, Chick” Triangle Easel Card

I have always wanted to make an “Easel Card” at my Stamp Club class, and when I found this awsome tutorial from Susan Campfield’s blog, I was all over it!    Since I wanted to focus on Sale-A-Bration stamp sets, I grabbed “Hey, Chick” and got to work!  For a full tutorial, you’ll want to CLICK HERE.  For my “base card” (the bottom layer), I inked up the new Hexagon Embossing Folder with Basic Black…

Valentine’s Day Card #7

Stampin’ Up! bundles make my work so easy!  This card features the Sending Love Bundle.  Nothing fancy here…..just some stamps, ink and paper.  The coordinating framelits give my creative juices a brain break — they do all the work for me! I’m headed to Alabama today to see the kids!  I couldn’t be more excited!  The Air Force delayed Ben and Lindsey’s move until April, so I’m getting to stay at their cute little house…

Valentine’s Day Card #5

Today’s card is CASE’d from a card I found on Pinterest.  It was just too cute and too simple to pass up!   This set is one that might not have caught your eye in the Annual Catalog, but now that I’ve drawn your attention to it, maybe you should check out the BIG variety of images and words included in this set.  Watercolor Words might be one of the most versatile stamp sets in…
