Winter Wishes Stitched Felt Sample #4

The fourth felt shape in the package of Stitched Felt is a wreath……..with delicate little berries stitched on one side.  I added “very merry” from Short and Sweet (page 166) in the middle of the wreath for a special Christmas greeting.  When all is said and done, I think this card reminds me of a front door — with the ivory piece resembling the window, or the panels on the door.   I didn’t really set…

Winter Wishes Stitched Felt Sample #2

Today’s card is similar to yesterday’s card, but with a different felt embellishment…..along with a Cherry Cobbler and Basic Black color scheme.  For more details, you might want to look at yesterday’s post. After embossing in White, I used Cherry Cobbler ink to sponge the background.  I took a Kleenex and rubbed off the excess ink.  The snowflakes will look pink until you rub them off.  Then you will see the white really “pop” off the…

Winter Wishes Stitched Felt Sample #1

This week’s posts will feature the Winter Wishes Stitched Felt embellishments from the Holiday Mini Catalog (page 30).  I have created one sample for each of the four designs.  Come back each day for a new sample and a few new card ideas.
