With Heartfelt Sympathy Card

Sympathy cards are tough.  You gotta have them, but you never really want to make them.  We made this card a couple of weeks ago at my August Club Class.  I had someone at class who needed a sympathy card for an infant that had passed away.  She wondered if we thought this might be appropriate.  She was glad that we made this floral card because she thought it might work out for her friend.  I…

Thanks A Latte Card

My Stamp Club started back up for the school year last week and we enjoyed stamping with new products!  The Coffee Cafe Suite is one of my all-time favorites, and I can’t wait to use it over and over again!  The coordinating Designer Series Paper makes creating even more fun…….and the color scheme automatically makes you think of “Starbucks”.  I don’t think it’s pure coincidence!  Doesn’t this make you just want to get in the…

Daisy Delight Stamp Class

We had such a fun time stamping last night!  It was wonderful to see my stampin’ friends and be creative for a change.  Many of you know that my summer has been spent moving my mother to my hometown and into an assisted living center.  It all started earlier in the spring when we began noticing an even greater amount of Dementia symptoms with mom and I was too far away from her to offer…

Watercolor Happy Birthday Card

Tonight’s class features five watercoloring cards.  I’m so excited to teach my customers more about this technique and allow them to be “artists” for the evening.  I can’t wait to see how everyone’s cards turn out, because when you watercolor,  no two cards are ever identical!  You can even “mess up” your card when you are watercoloring, and no one will ever know!  I really enjoy the freedom of using the Aqua Painters and letting…

Happy Birthday Gorgeous Card

How about some glitz and glamour in a birthday card?  I have already used this “Happy Birthday” Thinlit from Stampin’ Up! more times than I can count!  I’m digging the font, and the size!  It fills up my card so nicely and it can even stand alone if you don’t want alot of fuss on your card.  This time I went for the Gold Glitter Paper and used the NEW Sizzix Adhesive Sheets.  These are…

Special Celebrations Banner Card

Today’s card is another one of my Stamp Club cards.  We are having class tonight, and I’m featuring some new stamps sets and new colors that Stampin’ Up! has recently introduced in their new 2017-2018 Annual Catalog.  I received inspiration for this card from Pinterest, it is NOT an original.  Life is too crazy these days for me to spend alot of time creating original designs.  I enjoy the process of cardmaking, but more often…

Beautiful Bouquet Anniversary Card

I’ve enjoyed a small amount of creative time using new stamp sets, new colors, and new accessories from Stampin’ Up!  It’s always an exciting time of year when the new goodies start arriving!  This is the first of 3 cards for my June Stamp Club.  It’s no surprise that I’m drawn to all of the new shades of pink…….my favorite color!  And who can resist a new floral stamp set?  But what I was REALLY…

Definitely Dahlia Gift Card Set

I had a coworker ask for me to create a couple of Gift Sets for her to give a loved one.  She is an elderly lady, so I wanted something with a more traditional feel.  I packaged them in some clear card boxes that I purchased on Etsy.  I like keeping these on hand for gift-giving.  I usually add a wide grosgrain or sheer ribbon and a gift tag for the recipient.  Las year when…

Time for Graduation Cards!

It’s time to create some graduation cards and send well wishes to the “Class of 2017” graduates!   I found some inspiration on Pinterest, so I can’t claim this idea entirely, but I am using different color schemes to coordinate with the school colors in our area.  This one was created for a customer order for one of my coworkers.  She loved it, and I hope it will give you some inspiration, also! If you…
