Perfect Paper Bows

I stumbled up on the most adorable (and EASY) way to make a perfect paper bow!  I just knew my Club Ladies would like this idea, and sure enough, they loved it!  Tonight was our last formal club gathering until the end of summer, but we will start up again in late August.  If you would like to join us in August, please let me know. You can find the “perfect paper bow” instructions from…

April Club Project #1

My apologies for the poor quality of these photos……but I seem to have to do everything late at night these days!  We made 3 projects, as usual, and this was the “simple” project for the April club classes.  Just a basic card, nothing fancy, but everyone enjoyed it and agreed that we never seem to have any Sympathy cards handy when we need them.   This card is made quickly by using the Pleasant…

Butterfly Punch Card

I’m back from a fun weekend with some of my best girlfriends.  It was a wonderful escape, but it’s back to reality now!  I am sad to report that our little foster child has a fever tonight, and I’m worried about her…….and asking for prayers for a speedy recovery.  She is such a spirited little girl, but she was sad and pitiful tonight and it made me sad.  I took several unfinished sewing projects, and…

A little Chick-A-Dee Treat

This is a cute little 3D Treat that we made at my workshop on Saturday.  It is super quick and easy……and sure to please the young and old alike.  I used Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie cardstock, and a few simple measurements.  Start with a rectangle measuring 3 1/4″ x 8 1/2″ and score it at 3″, 4″, and 7″.  Grab a spool of your favorite ribbon and tracet he curve on the end that…

Sycamore Street Box

We made this cute little box at club last night, and my guests also enjoyed using the new Stampin’ Up! Paper Trimmer.  This paper cutter/scorer is fantastic!  You will fall in love with it……..and it looks so pretty, too!  I didn’t think I EVER needed to purchase another paper cutter!  If you are like me, you have owned quite a few in your paper-crafting lifetime.  But this one seals the deal!  I think you…

“Tea for Two” Butterflies Card

The butterflies and the “tea party” joined forces to make a lovely card, don’t you think?  This is one of this easiest cards to make, once you figure out the “perfect” width for the strip of DSP.  I think I tried 3 times — I wanted it to be a nice, round number, and it really isn’t.  But if you go with 1 5/8″, you are pretty close to perfect. You will need 3 strips…

Christmas Gift Card Holder

Today’s project was first shared with me by one of my downline at our meeting in October.  I’m so thankful that Shannon shared this great idea with me — and I adapted it for our December Club.  I gave my ladies two choices — this one made with the Bold Snowflake image — and another one made with the Gingerbread Man.  I’ll show you that one tomorrow…. In case you forgot, Stampin’ Up! has some…
