More Glittery Windows

I hope you saw the Glitter Window card from Monday’s post that we made for our club classes this week.  I wanted to show you a few of my “old samples” using this same technique.  Although I like my winter versions best, you don’t have to use this idea for “snowy” cards…. I will apologize in advance for NOT listing all the supplies.  Most of these images and papers are retired.  It would get really frustrating…

Grateful……but sad

Friends and family….as I type this entry (last night for many of you reading this), it has been an emotional weekend for my family and our small community where we live.  We have lost two parents who have students in our school system and who are friends with my teenage daughters.  One of them was battling cancer, and her death was expected, although never welcomed.  She was the mother of one of Lindsey’s best friends. …

Simple Expressions

Hello Monday!  Hello Friends!  I hope you had a fun weekend!  We had an exciting night on Friday as we defeated Mexia in Varsity Volleyball and Football!  We were definitely the “underdogs” in football, so it was a very big win!  We are now tied for first in both sports!   There is a 3 way tie for first in football, so our next two games will determine playoff spots.  We shall see….. Pumpkin Patch Sweet Treat, Deals of the Week, and Fireplace Remodeling

Warning:  Long post with several different items….some Stampin’ Up! stuff and some personal stuff, too.  Please read carefully for all the scoop! Good morning ladies………hope you had a fantastic weekend!  Ours was wet and rainy………and a little dreary!  Although I am thankful for rain, it really puts a damper on football games, band competitions, and traveling to all of those.  Our game on Friday night was wonderful — cool, clear skies, and a huge victory…

Yesterday, I went to the mailbox (the SNAIL mailbox) and found out that someone had sent me a very special card!  My first clue?  The envelope was stamped with gorgeous fall leaves!  I was so excited to open it, I almost ripped the envelope in my haste!  I quickly realized that I wanted to save this gorgeous piece of art, and show it to you all on the blog…….so AFTER you look at the Stampin’…

Falling rain and falling leaves….

Hello friends!  We are in the midst of a very rainy weekend.  It has rained non-stop for about 24 hours, and I don’t think it is supposed to stop until tomorrow.  Although it is messy, we are so thankful for the rain around here!  I am actually enjoying the time inside with no pressure to do any extracurricular activities.  However, last night was another story!  Football in the rain……..let me re-phrase that………football in the MUD!!! …

I’m “Falling” for this stamp set…

I am falling in love with “Falling Leaves”!!!  I found a brief moment of the day yesterday to play with one of my new sets.  I chose “Falling Leaves” because I was hoping it would cool me off to think about the season of fall that is approaching…….or at least I HOPE it is approaching.  You sure couldn’t tell it was fall at the football games last night!  After two delays because of lightning in…
